Whereas Culture has always been a field protected by people, only recently did we start paying attention to the devastating impact man has upon the natural environment. What are the psychological reasons for destruction of climate, nature and society we live in? Why do we think that the environment is a wonderfully regenerating space where we are allowed to do whatever we want to? At the Conference “HUMAN, CLIMATE, ENVIRONMENT” we will try to understand psychological foundations underlying destructive as well as reparative actions that we undertake towards nature, people, groups and organizations that surround us.

The discussion will be initiated by:

Sally Weintrobe
(British Psychoanalytic Society)
Living with our feelings about planetary systems’ collapse.
David Bell

Julian Lousada
(British Psychoanalytic Association)
